The nearest airport to Limoux is Carcassonne. its approx 20 minutes drive. Flights operate at different times according to the season from East Midlands and Stansted airports with Ryanair.
Car hire is available at the airport, or a shuttle bus runs into Carcassonne and stops outside the train station.
In most cases its possible to link in with either a bus or train to Limoux with the Carcassonne flights.
More regular flights go to Toulouse either from Gatwick/Heathrow or Stansted with Easyjet or BA.
Car hire is available at the airport. The drive is just over an hour. Follow sat nav/Google to Limoux, it should take you off the motorway at Bram - signposted Limoux/Mirepoix, or if its dark I prefer to carry on to the first Carcassonne turn off.
If arriving late into Toulouse, it will not be possible to get public transport to Limoux.
if arriving before mid afternoon, its possible to get a train to Carcassonne from Toulouse station, and then on to Limoux. The last train from Carcassonne to Limoux is 19.00 (bus 18.20 - from outside the train station)

Take the shuttle bus from the airport to Toulouse, it stops at the station and is much quicker than the tram system.
